As a BAC Young Producer you get the opportunity to take part in masterclasses from industry professionals on things like producing, marketing, press, PR and finance and you get to put these new skills in to practice by producing events at BAC and beyond.

Past Events

BAC Young Producers worked with BAC Producers to create If I Ruled the World (a festival made with, by and for 12-25 year olds). The festival presented the very best of BAC’s homegrown performance work as well as the most exciting work from young people across London and the UK.

The festival happened just before the general election and we were interested to find out what kind of world these young people – some of whom didn’t have the right to vote and some who were about to vote for the first time – wanted to live in.

Events we produced included:

• An interactive installation which grew over the week which invited audiences to write a letter to the new Prime Minister (these were later delivered to him at number 10 Downing Street)

• A young person’s manifesto that was shouted from the rooftop of BAC

• A political hustings with Battersea’s parlimentary candidates - watch the video

• Programming emerging bands, poets, DJ’s and series of secret parties and gigs around the building.

The festival also included work from BAC's 3 YPT groups, BAC’s Beatbox Academy and Glasgow’s acclaimed teenage company Junction 25.
