Young People

BAC's Young People's Programme is an amazing explosion of energy and creativity. Each year hundreds of young people from across Wandsworth and beyond participate in making theatre at BAC. If you are aged 12-25, have a look at all the different ways you can develop your ideas, create your own performances, learn new skills and shape our programme of work.

And, whatever age you are, come and be inspired by the termly performances from our incredible Beatbox Academy participants and our award-winning Young People's Theatre (YPT) companies.

Schools & Creativity

Our pioneering schools programme connects the UK’s most visionary artists with thousands of children and young people in local schools. This working partnership enables the students to explore and create inspiring new pieces of theatre, stimulating their imagination and visibly building their self-confidence.

To ensure our work has a lasting impact, we work in close partnership with local authorities and individual teachers to provide training to gurantee that our projects help unlock the whole curriculum in innovative ways.

Volunteering & Career Development

At BAC, the future of theatre isn’t just about the shows we put on but about the energy, enthusiasm and range of people involved in making it happen. Regardless of your age or background, there are loads of different opportunities, whether you want to meet new people in a friendly environment, learn new skills or are serious about forging a career in theatre. You might even find yourself taking part in one of our shows, performing live on stage at BAC.
