Family Learning

Family learning projects are a chance for children under 12 to take part in innovative, artist led activities with their parents and carers. Designed to encourage sharing with, and learning from each other, these projects are a unique and special experience for everyone.

Recent projects include a photography exhibition where families worked together to construct pinhole cameras, develop and print photos in an especially constructed dark room, culminating in a private view of their exhibition to an invited audience of teachers, family and friends. Families also took part in a series of creative workshops, exploring themes of community and citizenship, during Home Sweet Home, a major show in BAC’s Grand Hall.

BAC partners with a range of primary schools in the local area and you can get involved with Family learning through your school.
