Homegrown is a creative programme of for 12 – 25 year olds at BAC
Whether you are interested in making friends and having fun, doing something creative or developing a career in the arts – Homegrown has something to offer you:
- Drop in Workshops every Thursday
- Opportunities to perform in front of an audience
- Opportunities to see professional shows
DROP IN WORKSHOPS
Come to BAC on Thursday evenings to take part in drop in workshops in theatre and music led by professional theatre-makers and musicians.
NEXT TERM:
10 MAY - 5 JULY
There is no workshop during half term (7 JUNE)
TIMES:
12 – 17 year olds: 5pm – 7pm
18 – 25 year olds: 7.30pm – 9.30pm
PRICE:
Workshops are £4 each
(Subsidised places are available for those who need them. Please ask.)
All tickets go on sale on the door one hour before the workshops start.
(18 – 25 yr olds only can buy a place for workshops in advance from the Box Office on 020 7223 2223.)
If a workshop is full you can usually take part in another one. Otherwise, there will always be something interesting to get involved in or performances to watch.
OPEN MIC NIGHTS
31 MAY & 28 JUNE 7 – 10pm
Sign up on the night and test your talent in front of an audience.
NEXT SPECIAL PROJECT
Be part of a production performed at a professional theatre. Work intensively with industry professionals and be in a show at BAC. Check Facebook for updates or email homegrown@bac.org.uk if you are interested.
