Internships can be a great way of gaining some practical experience of the field you are interested in, and can equip you with the skills you need for full-time work. They are a perfect way to meet lots of the staff team at BAC, to find out more about what they do, and even to get involved with other departments in the future!

BAC offers three-month internships in various departments: Producing, Artistic Directors’ Office, Communications, and Administration. Undertaking an internship with any of our busy and successful teams covers a variety of tasks and gives you the opportunity to help to deliver projects and get a real hands-on experience.

Internships are undertaken on a voluntary basis (although we can cover some London travel expenses) and interns are usually required to commit to working three days a week at BAC, although this can be flexible. People from all backgrounds, disciplines and abilities can join BAC on an unpaid basis via a process of application only. You should be able to demonstrate an interest in BAC’s programme of work, and an enthusiasm for the work of the particular team you are applying to work in.
