BAC Special Projects

In a Homegrown Special Project, a group of young people will work with an artist BAC is really excited about. This artist will encourage you to think creatively and develop your own ideas in to a performance for a public audience. You might create a piece of theatre, a Beatbox show, a radio play, design and construct a set, produce a festival, train to be a director or theatre critic, or these projects may bring together lots of different art forms and ideas. Ideas for these projects may come from you, a BAC artist or a BAC Producer.

NEXT PROJECT:

Homegrown Special Projects | GLAS(S) PERFORMANCE | 8-11 August

AUDITIONS: Sat 26 May at BAC, 1-5pm

Our next Special Project begins on 13 June and will culminate in a performance over 8 – 11 August. This will be a really exciting project with Glas(s) Performance, who create unique and original theatre. They want to work with you to create an amazing theatre piece about the questions we have about the world in which we live.

You will need to be available for most of the rehearsal dates, which will usually be Wednesday and Thursday evenings over June and July and some daytimes closer to the performance in August.

If you would like further information on rehearsal and performance dates; and would like to reserve a place on the workshop audition, please send us an email homegrown@bac.org.uk

We look forward to seeing you there!

If you get a place on the project the price to take part is:
£65 full price
£60 if you go to school or college in Wandsworth
Please call Bethany on 020 7326 8210 if you need a subsidised place.
