More about Volunteering at BAC

Every year, BAC’s volunteers contribute thousands of hours to enable BAC’s programme. Without volunteers BAC’s programme would grind to a halt. Volunteers create a safe, welcoming environment for our audiences. Some volunteers offer just a few hours every couple of months up to a weekly commitment. It all makes a massive difference.

The most public volunteer roles at BAC are our Front of House stewards who support the Home team to ensure everyone visiting the building has a great experience. We also have a whole host of opportunities to use different skills behind the scenes, whether that’s the patience to stuff envelopes for mailshots or the care and attention for re-decorating and painting. In return for your time, we offer:

• a flexible approach that enables you to commit as much or as little as you like
• a welcoming team that will support you and offer training where required
• first-hand experience of working in an operating arts centre
• and discounts on our shows
