BAC’s Grand Hall is our largest and most impressive space. With a capacity of up to 600 for a standing reception or 400 for a seated reception or cabaret style event, this beautiful room allows for flexibility and originality when planning your event. 

Spectacular and intimate, the hall has welcomed a wide variety of events over its 100 year history including weddings, public dances, gigs and concerts, theatre shows, film screenings and momentous civic occasions.

It is entered via a stunning glass-domed marble foyer with an adjacent bar – an ideal space to serve drinks and refreshments, before moving into the hall itself. The ample stage is the perfect platform for presentations and entertainment with a built in PA system, rigging for AV equipment and male and female dressing rooms with showers and toilets. In addition to natural light provided by ten large windows, it is equipped with a variety of flexible lighting solutions, enabling any design to be implemented. The hall is flanked by airy corridors, useful as additional space for a buffet or breakout spaces and there is a fully equipped kitchen for your choice of caterer.
