With Christmas approaching and to bring the warmth of a Summer Fête to the short winter days, Improbable and BAC will be hosting their third Festive Mentoring Fête.
SUSTAINABILITY: HOW TO KEEP GOING, THRIVE AND STAY SANE! is the loose theme for this year, which is intended to trigger the conversations rather than dictate them. We are excited to announce that this year’s ‘mentor companies’ will include Improbable, Duckie, BAC, Deafinitely, Coney, and several more to be announced. Whether you are still studying, just starting out, or long established, we invite you to come and share the diverse experiences of these theatre organisations.
Surrounded by a wintery wonderland of games, music, and mulled wine, a speed dating style set up will allow you to move from table to table meeting each of the ‘mentor’ companies in turn. This is a great chance to ask a bunch of people who have been there, done that, got it wrong, and (sometimes) got it right; those burning questions that you’ve not had the opportunity to ask before.
After the speed dating you will have the chance to make a one-to-one appointment with any artists or producers for whom you have a particular question. Or you could just have a mince pie, some mulled wine, and a dance!
