Sex Traffic: How Much is that Woman in the Window?

July 21, 2010
9pm

£8 (£5 concs)

Do we value women, or do we just put a value on them? In Sex Traffic, Keith looks at the rise of sexism in everyday life and explores the idea that all women may be in danger of being trafficked in some way.

In a year when a Doctor in cancer research revealed her identity as an upper class call girl, is it surprising that professional women are being made redundant and finding they have become full time mothers by default? What does it say that the people of Iceland have turned to a woman to clean up one of the greatest economic disasters of modern times? Where in the world are women valued? Scandinavia - yes. Saudi Arabia - no. Ireland - we try.

The latest show from critically acclaimed comic Keith Farnan whose shows Cruel and Unusual (about the Death Penalty) and No Blacks. No Jews. No Dogs. No Irish. All Welcome (about racism and fascism) proved Keith to be one of the most thought provoking comedians around.
