Pay What you Can

When I bought a dog I unknowingly bought into an exclusive members only club. This dog a basset hound whom I named Major Tom, turned out to be a corker. After he won at a fun day dog competition an official judge said he was outstanding and could sweep the board.

The big timed beckoned and so I decided to take the plunge, immersing myself into the confusing realm of personal scrutiny. The aim: to be accepted as one of the tribe, and ultimately to win Crufts.

Major Tom’s first show was a disaster. Unperturbed, by a judge advising me to buy a new dog, I immersed myself deeper into the world of competitive beauty. This time, placing myself in the spotlight as a participant in a beauty pageant. Major Tom is going to Crufts and I at 33 and 5ft 4 am going to Mrs Brighton 2012.

This one woman, one dog, live show will be directed by acclaimed and award winning performer Ursula Martinez. The show will incorporate her unique filmatic style that documents her adventures and experiences, good and dreadful.
