This Perrier Award nominee has made groundbreaking live performances throughout the UK and impressed critics with his innovative multimedia shows. Renowned for his extraordinarily original character creations such as The League Against Tedium and Alan Parker Urban Warrior, Simon Munnery has rightly been described as ‘One of the most original and talented comics in the country’ by the Observer.
Simon has written and starred in his own TV series Attention Scum (BBC Two) which was nominated for The Golden Rose of Montreux and has appeared on The Live Floor Show (BBC Two), The Stand-Up Show (BBC One) Saturday Night Live (ITV1) and CGI (ITV). For radio, Simon won a Sony Gold Award for Alan Parker’s 29 Minutes of Truth (BBC Radio 1) and is a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4. He also wrote and recorded the recent radio series Where Did It All Go Wrong? (BBC Radio 4).
