Following their epic, sold out Festival of the Dead, the nabokov Arts Club returns to BAC for another weekend of live arts and late-night chaos! Drawing on dark fables and twisted fairytales, the wonder of the moment just before bedtime will collide with our feral instincts to create a heady mix of magic, mystery and mayhem…
• A musical subversion of the Cinderella story by Doctor Who star Arthur Darvill
• A short play about fairytales by This is England ’88 writer Jack Thorne
• Live funk, ska, dub and hip hop from King Porter Stomp
• Modern folk adaptations of Aesop’s Fables by Gavin Osborn
• Promenade dance-theatre from dANTE OR dIE
• Hidden dens, slumber parties, animal face painting, pop-up performances and more!
An extravaganza of live theatre, music, comedy, dance and visual art wrapped up in a big fat party - the nabokov Arts Club has been featured in The Guardian, Time Out’s Hot Picks/Critics’ Choice and The Independent’s ‘Best Nights Out’.
