To the young, the old, the optimist, the pessimist, the hopeful, the sad, the angry, the activists, the tired, the bored and the inspired.

There’s a looming general election in which some of us are just old enough to vote for the first time and some of us are still too young to have our say on who our next Government will be. So…

For four days we, the young people of Wandsworth will taken up residence at BAC in Battersea’s Old Town Hall and through performance, beatboxing, film, discussions with local parliamentary candidates, slam poetry, sleepovers and a manifesto we are going to present a world vision of our own. We invite you to come and see what it looks like…

Journey through BAC’s most unusual hidden spaces and see a series of brand new performance pieces and original ideas.

‘RETURN’ | a spoken film by Polarbear (a special performance in BAC’s Grand Hall - age 16+). Thursday 25 March 7.30pm £12 (£7 concs)
Polarbear takes his audience on a lyrical journey, visualising scenes and landscapes orally to conjure up our deepest imaginings of how to fit in a place we once called home.

BAC BEATBOX ACADEMY SHOWCASE | Friday 26 & Saturday 27 7.30pm £5 (£3 concs)
Created by 11 – 19 year olds. Directed by the UK Beatbox champions – SHLOMO, MC ZANI and JESTER.

YOUNG PERSONS’ MANIFESTO

Come and read and contribute to this collection of young, persuasive political activism.

Junction 25 shows
BAC also welcomes two performances from Junction 25; Glasgow's acclaimed company of teenage performers and devisers:

I HOPE MY HEART GOES FIRST | Friday 26 March 8pm £8 (£5 concs)
A youthful exploration of the curious workings of the human heart from love to Madness to cardiac arrest.

FROM WHERE I'M STANDING | Saturday 27 March 8pm £8 (£5 concs)
A tender, funny and energetic exploration of family dynamics as the company perform alongside their own parents.
