Four artists have been invited to BAC, to create new a performance in response to rules devised to challenge their usual creative strategies.
All four artists are bound by the same rules but they don't know them in advance. The rules are revealed on the first day of the residency and the artists then have one month to each make a new performance.
Artists in residence at BAC are Sharon Smith, Debbie Pearson, David Hoyle and Swen Steinhauser. See the results of their residencies on 25 & 26 September as part of Scratch Festival 2009.
