The Two Wrongies: N2O Comedy Festival

July 29, 2010

World of Wrong

July 29, 2010
7.30pm

£8 (£5 concs)

An edgy and explicit dance comedy that explores social taboos and the sexual representation of its female performers.

The Two Wrongies celebrate and re-interpret the classic double act in a funny, unrestrained and honest female sort of way. Subverting the locker room mentality in a brave exploration and exposé of the female psyche, their onstage relationship, playful rivalry and absurdist humour is not for the fainthearted. They share a love of bad jokes, lunging and the awesome power of dance… they are the double act who dare to do the dirty!

‘The Two Wrongies voice the things we think about yet wouldn’t want to say… made me feel wrong – and I enjoyed that feeling!’ Total Theatre Magazine

‘Through a weird mix of physical theatre, comedy, a lot of naked flesh and general tomfoolery the doubleact challenge the ways of conformity… it is hard to put your finger on exactly what it is that makes this show so hysterically funny, but let us just say that this evening, at least, two wrongies did make a right’ Three Weeks
