A Tale of Villainy & Valour in Victorian London

Following the launch of Battersea Arts Centre's open-air Courtyard last summer, Extravaganza Macabre returns this July.

We cordially invite you to join us for an evening of wild music and audience mischief.

A freak storm parts two passionate lovers and sets them on a tortuous path of cruel fate and hapless chance.  Can a loyal urchin and clairvoyant maid help to reunite the desperate pair?  Or will our scheming villain have his wicked way?

Witness the woe, howl at the horror and gasp at the gallantry in a tale of unbearably high stakes, unspeakable moral lows and double lashings of devilish over-the-toppery.

This performance will take place in our open-air Courtyard theatre - please dress for the weather!

WHICH TICKET TYPE?

Ground Floor Seating is on wooden benches, right in front of the stage on three sides. There is some friendly interaction with the audience - choose this to feel part of the action!

First Floor Standing is on a raised balcony and offers great views of the stage and Courtyard. Still close to the action, some scenes take place here. There is a handrail to lean on.

ACCESS NOTICE

We are experiencing ongoing problems with our lift, which we are trying to resolve as a matter of urgency. There is a step-free access to our café, toilets and The Bee's Knees, however performance spaces are on the first floor. If you have any access requirements, please contact our Box Office on 020 7223 2223, or email boxoffice@bac.org.uk, and we will do our best to accomodate you.
