Brand new gig-theatre by BAC Beatbox Academy, inspired by the original monstrous tale of power and persecution.

Using nothing but their mouths and a microphone, this talented and dynamic vocal collective present an electrifying poetic and political live concert of song, soundscape, improvised tracks and battles – exploring the idea of what makes a modern monster.

BAC Beatbox Academy is Battersea Arts Centre’s home-grown young collective. They have performed all over the country from Latitude Festival to The Royal Festival Hall and have recently appeared on Gareth Malone's The Choir. They have taken the nation by storm and current members of the group are ranked within the top 10 beat boxers in the UK.

Please be aware that there is strong language during this performance.

Battersea Arts Centre gratefully acknowledges support from PRS for Music Foundation and Arts Council England.
