MAKING ROUTES FESTIVAL


An inclusive weekend for children and young people. Just turn up - it's free!


This Half Term, join us for the first ever Making Routes Festival - three days of visual arts, theatre and play. All the events have been created by disabled and non-disabled children, young people and artists and will take place at three venues in South London: Oasis Play in Stockwell, the South London Gallery in Peckham and Battersea Arts Centre.

FRI 27 OCT - OASIS PLAY
10:30am - 6pm
The festival kicks off at Oasis Play where festival goers can take the wheel for petrol powered go-karting, learn to beatbox and enjoy a BBQ and gig in a tree house.

SAT 28 OCT -  SOUTH LONDON GALLERY
11am - 5pm
Take part in an interactive escape room, explore ways to play with giant tyres, mirrors and props and enjoy performances in the artist designed garden. 
For ages 5+


SUN 29 OCT - BATTERSEA ARTS CENTRE
1 - 7pm
On Sunday, aliens will take over the foyer of Battersea Arts Centre with plenty of dressing up, and there will be pop up performances and games throughout the day culminating in a closing party featuring live DJs. There's something for everyone whether you want to chill out, get creative or rock the dance floor.
