Following a multi-million pound refurbishment by renowned architects Haworth Tompkins, Battersea Arts Centre's stunning Grand Hall is accepting hires from February 2019. This Grade II* listed space will have the unique benefit of 21st century technical capability, while retaining the aesthetic of the original Victorian ball room. This improved infrastructure enables us to accommodate ambitious and innovative events like never before.
The Grand Hall has its own entrance, so can be accessed privately, and hire of the space includes use of the Octagonal Hall, complete with iconic bee-motif mosaic floor and stained-glass domed ceiling. The Grand Hall is serviced by its own kitchen and adjoining bar, with a redesign by artist Jake Tilson. There are several dressing rooms at either side of the proscenium arch, which have kitchenette facilities and showers.
