Battersea Arts Centre has an exciting opportunity for a driven and commercially-minded Catering Manager to join a growing business in a renowned arts setting.
The new Catering Manager will work alongside the Commercial Events Director to drive forward our events catering businesses, as well as working with the Executive Director to develop the Scratch Bar and performance-related food offer.
This is a historically important time for Battersea Arts Centre as we work towards the reopening of our renovated Grand Hall in 2018, following a devastating fire in 2015. We believe it will be one of the most sought-after venues in London, so 2018 sees an amazing opportunity to broaden our catering activity.
You will have the people and customer skills to engage staff and new audiences alike. You will also display a commitment to Battersea Arts Centre's collaborative values. You will be a highly effective budget manager with a history of achieving sales and net targets but also of robustly managing staff rotas, other expenditure and margins given that some of our business opportunities are still in early stages.
