INCLUSIVE PRACTICE MANAGER

 

We are looking for someone who has expertise and a passion for inclusion to take up a new role of Inclusive Practice Manager, to develop, help to embed and maintain inclusive practice across all aspects of the organisation as part of our transition toward becoming a fully relaxed venue.

In collaboration with Jess Thom of Touretteshero, we have been developing a brand new methodology for relaxed venues; an idea that builds on the principles of relaxed performances, which are designed to extend a warm welcome to people who might find it hard to follow the conventions of theatre etiquette.

This role is an initial 9 month fixed term post to help us to develop a long term strategy access and inclusion at BAC, to drive forward the legacy of this project and bring best practice, innovative ideas and valuable experience of embedding access to our organisation.

We particularly welcome applicants with lived experience of disability and people from groups that are currently under-represented in the arts sector. If you are a passionate advocate for inclusive practice with a keen awareness and connection to disability culture, and share a commitment to our mission and values, we want to hear from you.
