Join us for a stellar line-up of live stand-up comedy in our open-air Courtyard. See some of the best acts from around the country return to the stage for the first time in 4 months - trying out new material for your viewing pleasure.
Paul Chowdhry is a critically-acclaimed stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. He has appeared on Ents24’s list of the UK’s top 10 comedy acts. Paul's 2017/18 national tour Live Innit was spectacularly received, selling out two Hammersmith Apollos, with extra dates added due to immense demand. On TV, Paul hosted the final series of Channel 4’s Stand Up for the Week, and has performed two headline slots on Live at the Apollo (BBC 2), as well as making four consecutive appearances on Channel 4’s annua lComedy Gala. He brought his uniquely hilarious interpretation to tasks as a competitor on series three of Taskmaster (Dave), and has made regular appearances on 8 out of 10 cats (Channel 4), Very British Problems (Channel 4), and ITV’s Celebrity Squares.
Chloe Petts’ “inexhaustibly funny mind” (Diva Magazine) and “compelling presence” (Steve Bennett, Chortle) has established her as one of the most exciting new acts on the circuit. Chloe is an alumna of the prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve, has been shortlisted for the BBC Comedy Award, was a finalist in the most recent Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year Awards. She has appeared on Channel 4’s Random Acts and BBC 3 Quickies. She is a co-founder of The Lol Word, a queer comedy collective that hosts sell-out London nights, boasting the finest female and non-binary queer acts on the circuit. Their most recent Edinburgh run was a sell-out.
Julian Deane has been wowing audiences across the country with his genius punch lines and perfect delivery. His witty writing skills have been put to use on Matt Forde’s Unspun, Mock the Week, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and Morgan Spurlock’s New Britannia. Having first performed stand up in 2005, Julian’s brilliant, utterly original and hilarious routines have earned him appreciation, recognition and praise from audiences across the country as well as prominent figures in the comedy industry, and he has won some of the most prestigious stand-up comedy competitions in the country.

There are two types of tickets for the Courtyard.
Stalls (Seated) are wooden benches, on three sides. Gallery (Standing) is raised above the stalls and offers great views of the stage. There is a handrail to lean on.
Tickets are available in fixed groups; you can purchase a ticket to admit 1, 2, 3 or 4 people.
Please ensure that your group belongs to the same household or support bubble. Each group will be distanced from other groups by 1 metre, in line with government guidance.

Please note the following:
- You must arrive no later than 30 minutes before the start time of the performance
- All visitors will be required to wear a mask during the performance
- A one way system and hand sanitising stations will be in place
- Visitors are required to remain in their allocated seats throughout the performance.
- No drinks can be taken into the Courtyard or consumed during the performance.
- There will be two intervals, when you can enjoy pre-ordered drinks or table service in our Scratch Bar, and use the toilets.
