Lou Sanders is one of Britain’s fastest-rising and most original comedians. She is the champion of series eight of Taskmaster (DAVE) and other recent television appearances include The Late Late Show with James Corden (CBS), Live at the Apollo (BBC), QI (BBC2), Travel Man: 48 Hours in… (Channel 4), 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4), Hypothetical (DAVE), Aisling Bea’s sitcom This Way Up (C4), Roast Battle (Comedy Central), The Russell Howard Hour (Sky 1), Jon Richardson’s Ultimate Worrier (DAVE) and Karl Pilkington’s sitcom Sick of It (Sky One). Lou’s 2018 stand-up show Shame Pig received rave reviews, added extra shows at Edinburgh Festival and sold out three separate runs at Soho Theatre. Lou returned to Edinburgh with Say Hello To Your New Step-Mummy which again was critically-acclaimed, completely sold out, and is now on Lou’s largest UK tour to date. Radio includes regular appearances on Radio 4’s The Unbelievable Truth. She also supported Katherine Ryan on her latest West End run and the recording of her Netflix special.
Semi-finalist in So You Think You’re Funny?, Amused Moose Laugh-Off, and part of Fringe favourites WitTank, Kieran Boyd has been performing his inventive, high-energy stand up across the country for five years. He gigs for Avalon, CKP, The Stand, Komedia, and Highlight amongst others as well as numerous shows at the Edinburgh Festival. 2020 has seen him support Ed Byrne and Ed Gamble on tour. Kieran performed at the Edinburgh Festival as part of The Comedy Zone, the Fringe’s longest running and most prestigious stand-up showcase. His solo shows have received great acclaim from audiences and critics. With sketch trio WitTank, Kieran received a Best Show Nomination at the Leicester Comedy Festival, and appeared on Three at the Fringe (BBC3) and BBC Radio Scotland. WitTank can be seen as stars of 3 series of the acclaimed comedy show, Live At the Electric (BBC3) and have filmed their own sitcom pilot for E4.
Carl Donnelly is your MC for the evening. Carl’s conversational, silly sense of humour has seen him win a host of awards (Chortle Best Club Comedian 2017; Chortle Best Newcomer 2007; Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2007; among others) and become a regular at all of the finest comedy clubs in the UK and Ireland. Carl has been described as an 'observational genius’ by The Guardian and his comedy as 'a touching and hilarious account of embarrassment and the fragility of modern masculinity' by The Sunday Times.

There are two types of tickets for the Courtyard.
Stalls (Seated) are wooden benches, on three sides. Gallery (Standing) is raised above the stalls and offers great views of the stage. There is a handrail to lean on.
Tickets are available in fixed groups; you can purchase a ticket to admit 1, 2, 3 or 4 people.
Please ensure that your group belongs to the same household or support bubble. Each group will be distanced from other groups by 1 metre, in line with government guidance.
We can't wait to welcome you back through our doors. If you've visited us before, things may look and feel a little different. To keep you safe, social distancing and other measures will be in place to ensure best practice with Covid-19 guidelines.
Please note the following:
- You must arrive no later than 30 minutes before the start time of the performance
- All visitors will be required to wear a mask during the performance
- A one way system and hand sanitising stations will be in place
- Visitors are required to remain in their allocated seats throughout the performance.
- No drinks can be taken into the Courtyard or consumed during the performance.
- There will be two intervals, when you can enjoy pre-ordered drinks or table service in our Scratch Bar, and use the toilets.
