Join us for a stellar line-up of live stand-up comedy in our open-air Courtyard. See some of the best acts from around the country return to the stage for the first time in 4 months - trying out new material for your viewing pleasure.

Comedy-Rap-Jazz duo and Guardian Pick of the Fringe Harry & Chris blend award-winning wordplay, awe-inspiring musicality, eyebrow-raising bromance and unashamed joy to their audience. They write fast-paced and tongue-in-cheek lyrics rapped over soulful melodies with poignant messages behind them. Together the pair have generated a devoted following with their family friendly, feel-good songs which have been featured on The Russell Howard Hour (Sky), and heard on BBC Radio 2’s Live From the Edinburgh Fringe, BBC Radio 3’s The Verb, and BBC Radio 5 Live’s Sarah Brett Show. Harry and Chris received a Leicester Comedy Festival Award nomination in 2016, and have continued to performed to sold-out audiences across the UK. Internationally, the pair recently featured on NBC’s flagship comedy entertainment show Bring The Funny with Kenan Thompson, Chrissy Teigen, Amanda Seales and Jeff Foxworthy.

Tania Edwards is an award-winning stand-up comedian and writer. She is a member of The Cutting Edge Team at The Comedy Store. Credits include Stand Up For The Week, Twit of the Year (Channel 4), Mock the Week, Après Ski (BBC2), and The Unbelievable Truth (Radio 4). She was a panellist on The Blame Game (BBC1 Northern Ireland), and is a frequent guest on Radio 4’s Comedy Club. She recently supported Katherine Ryan on her sell out tour. Tania was a finalist in the Hackney Empire, Amused Moose, Leicester Square, Latitude, and Funny Women competitions. Her five-star solo show Not My Dog won the Amused Moose Comedy Award for Best Fringe Show 2018. Her most recent solo show Don’t Mention It garnered rave reviews. Her jokes were selected as Best of the Fringe in The Evening Standard, The Telegraph and The Mirror.

Pierre Novellie is one of the best up-and-coming comedians in the UK. Recently seen and heard on The Mash Report (BBC2), Stand Up Central (Comedy Central), The Now Show (Radio 4), Pierre also co-hosts the hit podcast BudPod with Phil Wang. As a writer, credits include Mock the Week (BBC2), The News Quiz (Radio 4), The Mash Report (BBC2), Newzoids (ITV) and Adam Buxton’s Shed of Christmas (Sky). An acclaimed live act, Pierre has supported Frank Skinner on his five-week West End run at the Garrick Theatre and national tour. He has previously supported Hal Cruttenden and Gary Delaney on tour, and received three Chortle Award nominations. An Edinburgh Fringe regular, his shows are consistently critically acclaimed and he has twice placed in the top 20 best reviewed comedy shows across the entire festival.
